Claire was born in France but grew up in a Brisbane art gallery in a family of artists. She aims to ban boring walls with art full of bold botanicals and happy abstracts – a rare reprieve amidst post-modern haste of 21st Century life. Claire’s art is for those who have grown up but not old; those who delight in freedom, colour and crave a sort of eclectic elegance. Claire describes herself as a woman with paint-covered hands and a happy heart. She is a mother to one wild boy with another on the way and wife to an amazing, kind and strong man (who amiably tolerates her whimsical art in every corner of the home.) She loves proteas, champagne, yoga and walks with her ‘tame wolf,’ Nanette.
