Gayle has the love and passion for animals and art. To capture a personality on paper , a likeness , a sole is very important to her. On her art journey which has only been about 7 years , Gayle has had a joint exhibition , has created 100’s of commission pieces , has designed an exclusive Christmas card for a business in Brisbane, is currently illustrating a book to help the survival of the koala and has a solo exhibition booked in Naracoorte S.A this year and in between she creates one off original works, which is what is being auctioned for this worthy cause.

Gayle works from her family property in Victoria. She works in a converted 80 year old barn as her studio / gallery. Which is open to the public by appointment.

Gayle has been published in an artist magazine and has a new article coming out very soon in ‘The Australia artist , talking a about Key points to be a successful realist artist. Gayle mainly uses pastel and pastel pencils as her preferred medium because it allows her to do fine detail or loose marks on the paper. She believes there is no more versatile medium in the way you can apply it or make the finished piece have a softness and the feeling it’s alive on your wall. As a realist artist Gayle wants her work to look like art not a photo , leaving beautiful pastel marks. She prefers to do animals but also takes on the challenge of the human face.

‘I will continue creating original pieces and taking commissions for this is my dream job and passion , I feel privileged to be able to do what I do .’
