Melanie is a Landscape photographer from Brisbane, Australia. She loves nothing more than time with a camera and a scene to herself, it is in this time that she revels in translating a scene into art, it is her zen. Her visual career began with undertaking Tafe and then University study in the Fine Arts. Her photographic career is an extension of this learned practice and creative intuition which has been her sidekick since she was young. Nowadays, Melanie can be found exploring the world, interpreting landscapes her way and writing vivid, often funny travel blogs that capture the feeling, sights and smells of what it was like to be there.
Melanie has held several roles within the photographic community of Australia, from becoming the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) Queensland President in 2017, or judging the Epson Panoramic Photographic awards in 2015 and 2018, it is not hard to see why this young woman was born to be in the creative industries.
